Dishwasher Detergent Booster Powder

This is a good smelling booster for your dishwasher detergent. It's easy to use, simply add some of the powder alongside your regular dishwasher liquid. We use 7th Gen regularly for many of our household cleaning needs and are very happy with it. This booster isn't really a necessity but does help your dishes sparkle a bit more, so you may find yourself using it periodically to help clean things up. A little pricey at $17.08 for a two pack but good for what it is.

Doesn't seem to make a difference.

This seemed to make no difference used with the Seventh Generation Dishwasher Detergent Packs (pods). Dishes are coming out covered in film and grit from the dishwasher pods, and the inside of the dishwasher door is also covered in film and white grime. This was a fail.

My glasses and utensils came out shiny and spotless and coffee cups came out clean with no coffee rings left on. Just what I was hoping for in a booster.

Good for that extra sparkle!

This is a good booster to the dishwashing game. Easy to use. Just add it with your dishwasher tablet and let it do the job. It's not for everyday use, i would say it's good if you want to add extra sparkles to your dishes and if you want to get rid of the glass spots The price is good. Worth it! Not essential, but good to have around

Didn't Make Noticeable Difference

I tested this booster powder with our standard dishwasher pods, typically Finish Pods or Costco Pods, and the booster seemed to make no difference. I ordered this not because we need help with the cleanliness of our dishes but because I figured this would make our dishes extra clean. I failed to see any difference. It could be how I use the dishwasher since I typically rinse the dishes before using it. For my money, this isn't worth the extra expense. Disappointing because Seventh Generation products are typically excellent.

This stuff really does work

We recently moved into a new apartment and the dishwasher here is not the best. It requires us to buy expensive cascade brand pods in order to get the stuff it washes fully clean and odor free. Well, after using this stuff, we can now go back to buying the generic pods and getting the same quality of clean we'd expect from the cascade ones. I simply pour a little bit of this powder into our dishwasher's slot and put in a generic Safeway dishwasher pod and our dishes are now as good as new afterwards! There's no off-smell or smudges on any of them and it costs a lot less to do our dishes now too! I highly suggest this product and think it'll be beneficial to all that use it.

This stuff works great! My dishes come out cleaner than ever before when I use this. Its so simple to just add to the Pre-rinse compartment. My double insulated cups would always have a film on them with a regular wash, after using this... they look brand new. I love that I can know with SG it is the best clean product possible. I would highly recommend.
