Great trowel. Indispensable for my gardening needs.

By far the best trowel I have found for busting up heavy midwestern clay soil. The sharp edges make digging so much easier. I lost my old one that I had for years, and although I expect to eventually find it somewhere in the yard, I had to replace it right away because other trowels are dull and require me to exert too much pressure for my arthritic hands. Beware of the other sharp edge trowel made by this company that has a different shape: it is straight and long with only the top portion in a "v" shape. That one digs only shallow holes because the pointed end is too short to penetrate the ground far enough.

Perfect weeder...

I have a naturalized landscape with no grass. All California native plants, very drought tolerant and I use no herbicides. Therefore, heavy weeding chores involving knee pads, patience and perseverance. We use two of these tools to make the task of getting invasive weeds out...roots and all.

Nice product

Really well made garden trowel. This is not a cheap import that breaks easily so I expect it will be around longer than I will. Definitely worth the money especially if you are tired of having to replace imported ones that constantly bend or break. Highly recommend.

The shape allows it to dig into the soil easily and the measurements marked are very useful. It feels sturdy and has been easy to use. Good for digging up weeds also.

I bought this as a gift for someone who is a professional gardener. He is very happy with it and says it is far better than any other one he has had! It digs perfectly and is very sturdy.
