My generator works perfectly!

The Steam generator works great. Mine had a lot of grease in it. It needed to clean the water level probes cleaned with degreaser, (I used Simple Green.) I also flushed the system with Simple Green. After doing this and thoroughly flushing the system with water and drained the system three times and refilled with water flushing each time, the unit works perfectly. If the probe wires are removed water goes through the system and steam nozzle. It will let the water flow for 5 minutes before the E13 error message comes up. After thoroughly flushing I reconnected the probes and have no further problems. Simple green is a non-toxic degreaser. The key is flushing by draining and refilling three or more times. It takes three or four minutes to fill and it takes three or four minutes for the drain cycle. Contact Steamist. They did not recommend the Simple Green. They did educate me enough about the system for me to feel I could safely flush the system with a non-toxic degreaser.
