Does the job

I’m currently building my own house and needed some added airflow to help cool me off during warmer parts of the year. This fan along with the pedestal fan I already have moves plenty of air in the 1800 square foot area. It’s a bit loud, but I just turn up the radio. Being able to tilt it is a big plus.

Really blows!!

Spouse wasn't happy with the bright yellow color but I like it. Functionally, it's great for our basement gym. We never use anything higher than low speed and that's plenty. It is quite noisy but I think that's unavoidable if you want to move a lot of air. Five stars for performance!

Moves air like whoa.

Even set to Low this fan turns your place into an F5 tornado wind epicenter and we love it. Loud as all get out- perfect if you need some high grade white noise. Moves air throughout our 1100’ space from the corner of the room.

Decent fan. Good velocity.

I bought this fan to stick in my crawlspace after a sewer line broke and I needed to quickly air things out. The fan works well and it was relatively easy to assemble the stand/wheels. My only complaint is there doesn't seem to be much difference between the three fan speed settings. It seems like a "High" 80%, "Higher" 90%, "Highest" 100% as opposed the more traditional "Low" 30%, "Med" 75%, "High" 100%. Not a big deal for the crawl space but it would be nice to have a slower speed when using in the house so I don't have to tie down the furniture.

Great fan except for paint

This is a great fan for the price. product ordered and delivered within two days. However, in several places the yellow paint cracked and peeled off in chunks. I need the fan for camping this weekend so I repaired the paint myself vs returning it. Hence the overall 3 rating

My central air conditioner went out a few years ago and this is cheaper than paying $7000 for a new unit. Their are 3 settings and the difference is noticeable, but not really significant. I use it every night for 8 hours at a time and have so for several months now with no problems. Instructions are easy, just pay attention. A couple of things I would like to point out where people have wrongly commented in the questions. 1) this fan ( as noted in the picture - warning label ) is marked "Suitable for household use only" by the manufacturer ... it is a drum fan, not labeled as a shop fan although powerful enough for a small shop. 2) it clearly states on the warning label on top of the motor ... "Do Not use an extension cord with this product." It is the very first thing on the label. 3) lastly, this fan is great in a house. As long as you don't have any loose papers in the room where you are using it there should not be any problems. On a side note: it is a little loud. I like it because it drowns out external noise when I am sleeping. However, I have to either shut if off or go to another room if I want to talk on the phone ( fan on low setting.) And you can't really have it on if you are watching television unless you have some great speakers.

Blows really goid and strong!

Fan arrived in perfect condition. It blows really strong and seems to be exactly the power I was looking for. Love that it tilts up or down too and it can easily be moved around. You MUST have a fan in Tx or you'll suffer and I wanted it for our south facing por h that's about 50ft long. It gets soo hot out there and the fan has enough blowing power that you can feel it GOOD even from almost 50ft away when it's blowing right at you and that EXACTLY what I was looking for in a fan...one step down from a propeller on a plane..LOL So far, so good. Always buy an extended warranty. Everything is made in China and we all know how that go's, unfortunately. So far I do recommend it and I'll update if anything go's wrong. I gave 3 stars only because I know this and everything else is always overpriced.
