Magnetic spoon holder

I love that it is metal and comes apart from the base to wash, plus the base has a magnet that’s perfect to store on the top of your range.

Perfect!

It was initially my mistake. I thought the metal had corroded but it was actually a stain that eventually I was able to get off. It is now perfect once again. I really like the design and size of the product but the stainless steel part became stained right away. It’s almost corroded. It still works fine of course but it just doesn’t look as good as I had hoped.

"simply" ideal

My needs were specific. my stove top is 100% heating grate with no surface to rest a standard spoon rest on. So, long and wide , but not too wide with as much flat area on the bottom as I could get. otherwise, a standard spoon rest would fall through the grating. This fit the bill. It's size can be placed in almost any position on my stove top. It handles all of my utensils. Almost as a bonus, the metal top and soft bottom are held together with a magnet and can be easily separated for extra space when I'm using many utensils or cleaning. A very simple design, a very simple solution. Simply Ideal.

I love his spoon rest it is actually magnetic so the top and the bottom fit together very nicely and don’t move around. I love that you can take them apart to make two spoon holders very well made I’m glad I got this I use it multiple times a day.

Great salt & pepper holder

We did not buy this for a utensil rest, but to keep our salt and pepper grinders in and we love it. It allows us to keep the mess in one place and provides easy clean up. Exactly what we needed.

Nice and sleek

It's nice sleek and you have two in one because they separate. The stainless side clean up could be better, but it's meant to get soiled with cooking..

Works great! Dishwasher safe!

I'm loving this spoon rest! I bough the stainless steel version, specifically so that I could put the steel part in the dishwasher. It seems to be holding up pretty well. I suspect the plastic red version would be top rack only. Some other reviews complained about the magnets being too strong and holding on to any metal tools you set on it. Honestly I have not experienced that problem. The magnet is fairly weak and only really holds the top plate to the bottom. If I put a table spoon on it directly I can feel a little pull, but it's almost nothing. Setting the spoon off to the side doesn't lead to it being pulled to the center, it stays where I put it.

Very useful little tray

I did buy this with the intention of using it to rest large cooking spoons and lifters which fall off of my existing spoon rest, and it does that job excellently. In fact you get two trays for the price of one as the base detaches and can be used independently. In fact I have found dozens of uses for this little combination it is ideal for holding and weighing ingredients and I probably now use it every day for something. A good buy!
