Good for wood lathe tool inserts

Like the other reviewer, I am using these as wood lathe tool inserts. They work OK, and the steel seems to be OK, although I have no way to measure the specific hardness. They hold an edge about as well as other tools I have. I mount them in wood handles with a brass ferrule. This batch was shipped from Germany, and delivery was reasonably prompt.

two are good enough.

they came fast enough. one has small bevels along two adjacent edges, for some reason tapering from the middle to nothing about a fourth of the way to the ends (?used?) another has a cross section similar to a parallelogram. two are good enough.
