Exactly What I Hoped For

My son has recently been overflowing his diaper and waking up wet in the morning. I hate that I waited so long to get this cover. It's soft. Doesn't move around under the sheet and it seems to add an extra layer of softness to my son's mattress. I may end up purchasing a second one before our potty training is finished.

Fits well but not ideal

We bought an Ikea crib and Ikea has been out of mattress pads for months so I bought this one to try, Sealy being a well known and usually dependable brand. It fits the crib mattress well but there are two problems. One is it's a child's product made in China, and if you're like me, you avoid them like the plague. The second is the mattress pad stinks out of the packaging. It had a strong smell, like plastic or something; you may have to wash it twice to get rid of the smell. I did a presoak and a long wash and it was fine when it came out of the dryer. It didn't seem to shrink, and the elastic appears to be strong, but not so strong that it bends the mattress. The fabric seems to be on par with other mattress pads I've had over the years with regard to thickness and composition. We expect the little one in about 2 weeks, I will update on absorbency, etc after he has his first mishap! LOL

I CAN FINALLY SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT

I purchased this product for my baby's crib to add some softness to his mattress. The mattress alone just felt way too hard and while I understand this may be due to pediatric recommendations my son would wake up constantly without a soft bed/padding to lay down on. I wasn't comfortable leaving him in his crib with a thicker blanket underneath him when he slept so I began looking into other solutions. Putting multiple sheets just doesn't make any sense to me because they didn't add any extra comfort. I went ahead and purchased this and so far, so good. It's got just enough padding and my little one is sleeping through the night. It's true that it absorbs liquids so it does serve its intended purpose, but it also adds that extra comfort my little one needed to get some good sleep on what used to be a hard crib mattress.

Noise canceling-ish

I purchased this to help with some noise cancelling. And it pretty much worked. At least it’s way better then our little bed was. His mattress is already waterproof which caused a great deal of noise with just a sheet- and easily wakes him up, and hard for him to relax to go to bed. After some research some people recommended this. Since this is also waterproof it doesn’t totally cancel out allll the noise. But I put a sheet in between them and it works pretty well. And does it add a little extra layer of softness/comfort too.

It does its job, and I'm pleased

I bought this as a backup pad, and it has been both good and bad. The pad came out of the packaging smelling strongly of plastic, and the smell only faded slightly after being washed. I am a bit uncomfortable with my son breathing in these fumes all the time, which is why my daily mattress pad is organic without any plastics or vinyls. However, I needed a less expensive pad for temporary use for when I am washing the organic pad, and this one has served its purpose very well. For people who do not mind plastics, this fits the mattress well, seems to wear and wash well, and thus far, has protected the mattress from spit-up and poo (so it does its job! Overall, I believe this product has lived up to my expectations for it, and I would recommend it to others. UPDATED: It is now 2011. I just recently gave this mattress pad away, because it shrank to the extent that it no longer fit my crib mattress. My crib mattress is somewhat thicker than the average crib mattress, so I don't know if it would continue to fit a standard crib mattress after this much shrinkage. The mattress pad actually lasted a fair amount of time, and it was so inexpensive that I'm not disappointed, but my organic daily-use pad remains fully useful and the correct size, so I have bought another one of those for my second child instead of replacing this one with another cheap one.

Muy buen producto y de buena calidad

Este es el 2do que compro ya que me parece de buena calidad y sobre todo por que cumple la función de protejer el colchón atrapando los líquidos. Yo uso uno sobre el colchón y luego pongo un juego de sábana y cobija y sobre esto pongo otro cubre colchón con otro juego de sábana y cobija y así si mi bebé se moja por la madrugada sólo retiro el primer juego y abajo tengo otro listo para volver a acostar a mi bebé. Lo recomiendo!..

Compré mi producto, lo lavé y lo puse en el colchón de cuna y por accidente vaios días después derramé un vaso de agua sobre el colchón... me apresuré a quitar el cubre colchón y para mi sorpresa el colchón estaba totalmente seco. Quedé muy satisfecha con mi compra

Buen protector para cubirir tu Colchon

Es un producto necesario ya que los bebes tienen reflujo o se derrama el pañal, por lo quesi no tienes una funda impermiable, tendras problemas en el futuro con el colchor (hongos, humedad, mal olor). la funda se lava rapido y se seca rapido, puedes hacerlo entre siesta y siesta del bebe
